TRIPP HOMERS TWICE AS KEYS TAKE SERIES IN 7-3 WIN
Renshaw Works Into Eighth Inning For the Win

For the second straight day a big fourth inning rally propelled Frederick to victory as the Keys jumped to a 5-1 lead and never looked back in their 7-3 victory in Myrtle Beach. Keys OF Brandon Tripp started the fourth inning rally with the first of his two home runs on the day.
With two down in the fourth inning, the Keys would have six straight batters reach to plate three more runs. Tripp's second home run came leading off the fifth inning.

The Keys lead was in good hands with RHP Jake Renshaw (2-0) atop the hill. Acquired in a trade with the Cubs, Renshaw was the first Keys pitcher to work into the eighth inning in 2008, going 7 2/3rd strong innings to get the win.

Keys 2B Chris Amador homered in the sixth inning. OF Danny Figueroa had his first three hit game in Frederick going 3-for-5 with a run scored.

The Keys return home to take on the Salem Avalanche Monday, April 14th for Kids Eat Free Monday. For tickets contact the Keys Box Office at 1-877-8-GO-KEYS or purchase online at frederickkeys.com.
