Lynchburg Avoids Sweep
Crotto Perfect Through Six, as Keys Lose Series Finale
The Lynchburg Hillcats infield got a workout today, as the Frederick Keys dropped the finale of the three game-set 9-3. Hillcats starter Michael Crotto was perfect through six, getting the Keys to ground out 16 times. The Keys broke up the perfect game in the 7th inning with a Bobby Andrews walk. A Paul Winterling-RBI single broke-up the no hitter. Keys starter Pedro Beato didn't fare as well, lasting just 3.1 innings. Hillcats OF Jared Keel was 2-for-5 with a homerun and three RBIs. Frederick begin a six-game road swing in Kinston on Tuesday night. The Keys return to Frederick on Monday, April 14th for a three-game set with the Salem Avalanche.
